Distinguishing features

Pale grey with several darker blotches on lower sides; midline scales with dark centres; upper sides and back speckled with brown, blue and yellow. Thin blue and yellow lines run obliquely from top of head across cheek.

Thanks to iNaturalist contributors for the genus level identification and to Dianne Bray for suggesting the resemblance to Vanderhorstia phaeosticta which has not yet been recorded from Australia (Atlas of Living Australia accessed 8 Jan 2020).
