Distinguishing features

Leopard spots on the front sides of the carapace. A club-like appendage for smashing prey.

Roy Caldwell provided LIRS with a list of stomatopods he collected at Lizard Island between 1986 and 1997. It includes Odontodactylus scyllarus with the note: "burrows constructed from rubble, 10 - 20 m".
