Distinguishing features

Blue to dark grey with darker scale margins, white tail, a large dark spot at base of pectoral fin, wavy blue lines on face, dorsal fin rays tipped with black. Indistinct wavy lines on tail, anal fin and rear of dorsal fin. Juveniles are bluer than adults and have a large, ocellated black spot at the rear base of dorsal fin.
