Distinguishing features

This is a valid name (WORMS accessed 29 Oct 2021) but it appears that early records of it on the GBR are misidentifications of Chromis viridis. There are no records of it in ALA and the name is not listed in Fishes of Ausralia website (both accessed 29 Oct 2021).
