Comments

Several specimens from Yonge Reef near Lizard Island are in the Australian Museum collection identified as this widespread species that was first described from the Society Islands. However, the genus requires revision and it is likely that a different species name will apply for the GBR material (Ribas & Hutchings, 2015).
