Local abundance

  • Lizard Island: Not recorded from the Lizard Island Group or from any coral reef habitat in the area. Inhabits deep-water, inter-reef seagrass beds between Lizard Island and the outer reefs. (Choat and Randall, 1985; Atlas of Living Australia accessed 4 Dec 2017).
