Pale grey brown with three dark blotches on lower side, mottled paler brown markings on head and body. Second ray of first dorsal fin elongate. Bands on dorsal fin and tail.

Comments
This may be a small specimen of Acentrogoibius nebulosus but it needs to be checked by a goby expert. Atlas of Living Australia (6 Mar 2016) shows few Australian records for that species and none from Queensland.
