Distinguishing features

A pale grey shrimpgoby with five wide brown bars on body and two thin, brown, sloping lines on head, one on snout and the other on cheek, the latter running over the nape. A few metallic gold flecks between the body bars.

The larger photographed individual has a blue line on each side of the brown cheek line.
