Distinguishing features

An elongate trevally, silver, often with a few brown or yellowish spots on sides. Tips of caudal fin lobes dark. Other fins not tipped with a different colour, no spot at the top of gill cover.

Changed from genus Carangoides to Turrum by Kimura et al (2022).
