Distinguishing features

From Wilson and Swan (2010): Fine granular scales are mixed with conical tubercles that form 15-27 (usually less than 21) longitudinal rows. Digits are slender, padless and clawed. Found only between Cape Melville and Cairns.

This species was reported at Lizard Island as Cyrtodactylus pelagicus (now Nactus pelagicus) by Limpus (1982) but it seems that was a misidentification.

  • Up to 5.7 cm (snout-vent length according to Wilson and Swan (2010))
