Local abundance

  • Lizard Island, Queensland, Australia: The Welcome Swallow has been recorded only twice Lizard Island, in July 1969 and June 1996. It has also been recorded once from nearby Nymph Island, in October 1996 (Atlas of Living Australia, accessed 8 April 2012).
