Comments

Numerous specimens from Lizard Island and nearby reefs are in the Australian Museum collection identified as this widespread species that was first described from the Caribbean. However, the genus requires revision and it is likely that a different species name will apply for the GBR material (Ribas & Hutchings, 2015).
