Photo of Animalia: Pastel-green Wrasse (species: Halichoeres chloropterus)

Initial phase Halichoeres chloropterus at North Direction Island near Lizard Island. Note tiny spaced black spots on side and several darker chevrons on belly. Fish appears brighter yellow in the water than in this photo.
