Lizard Island Field Guide web services

Overview

The data used by Lizard Island Field Guide are all exposed by web services. You need to be logged in follow links to the underlying XML resources through the web site.

Accessing XML resources

XML resources are accessed by their document ID. That ID is always contained in the "id" attribute of the root element of the XML resource. The query to access such XML resources is of the form:

Image resources are accessed by their resource ID. That ID is a URN. The query to access such XML resources is of the form:
