Distinguishing features

A bush or small tree with distinctive leaves: all in one plane, alternate, to 3 cm long x 2 cm broad. Inconspicuous flowers form in the leaf axils, developing into bright red/pink fruits. At Lizard Island, fruits grow on the upper side of the stem, not drooping below.
