Comments

The individual photographed here looks like photos identified as Ophiocoma pusilla (now Breviturma pusilla) by Coleman (2007). However, the Lizard Island specimen does not have enlarged, club-like arm spines as noted for that species by Clark & Rowe (1971), nor can such spines be seen in Coleman's photos.

Breviturma pusilla is known from Lizard Island.
