Lizard Island: Redback spiders are not often seen at at Lizard Island Research Station. The photographed specimen (Suntory House, Feb 2022) is the first known record for many years. Previously, individuals have been seen infrequently in unused aquarium tubs at LIRS and also under cones at the Lizard Island airstrip.
