Distinguishing features

Dr Richard Willan (NT Museum, 6 Aug 2019) notes that this species is characterised by a large shell (to 60 mm) which has a relatively high spire. It is distinguished by its dark exterior (dark brown to almost black), and dark chocolate brown columella and inner lip.
