Distinguishing features

A large dark purple/black slug with double pale rings on the mantle.

The individual shown here appears identical to those identified as Pleurobranchus weberi on Sea Slug Forum (accessed 14 Aug 2020) and by Coleman (2008, page 99) but there do not appear to be any Australian records yet (Atlas of Living Australia accessed 14 Aug 2020).
