Distinguishing features

Large size, low tentacle count (for a cerianthid), the long tentacles are very much longer than the inner ring of shorter tentacles, pale colouration with no banding on the tentacles.

Thanks to Joe Rowlett (Field Museum, Chicago) for the family-level identification. He notes (Jan 2020): "This one is common in the Indo-Pacific, but I don't think it has a name. Most similar to Isarachnanthus, but lacks the banded tentacles."
