A subadult Mauritia eglantina about 45 mm long on reef flat near Bird Islet, Lizard Island. Thanks to Dr Richard Willan (NT Museum) for the identification. He notes that the specimen shows incomplete calcification of the dorsum, possibly a genetic defect.
