A flat, encrusting colony of Psammocora digitata about a metre wide on a vertical surface in an underhang on the reef slope near South Island, Lizard Island group.

Identification confirmed in Apr 2017 by Dr Zoe Richards, WA Museum, who has seen similar flat colonies of this species in the Kimberley area of WA.
