Brutus (Resort game boat skipper, acting head of Marine & Dive) reported that there have been an unusually high number of whale sharks on the outer reef - five recorded by different game boats in a single day, widely spaced so unlikely to be the same individual. One has a noticeably damaged dorsal fin. He has put the word out for photos.
