Animal was about 10 m from base of reef and in spawning position when first observed. Bump enlarged around the gonopore rapidly (a minute or two) and spawning was over in less than a minute, at around 3.30 pm, tide running out but very little current. Anterior end returned to normal position quickly. No other holothurians observed spawning on the dive. No other individuals of this species observed at all.
