Spawning observed near sunset. One large individual with front half of body raised and gonopore visible on a mound on head but no spawn seen. A second individual about 30 metres from the first and about 5 minutes later was spawning while in normal position, whole body flat on sand. Gonopore on mound as in first animal. No other individuals of this species noticed during the dive. No photos.
