  • Lizard Island, Queensland

  • Lagoon between Palfrey and South Island, on sand away from reefs

  • Marine specimens found at a depth between 4 m and 10 metres.

  • 12 specimens. (accurate to within 2)
  • specimens alive when found.
  • specimens alive at end of the observation process.
  • specimens left in natural environment.
  • Reproduction was occurring.

Many tiny individuals seen on bottom at about 10 metres depth, 0.5 to 2 cm bell diameter. A few were swimming near the bottom, most were upside down on the bottom.
